We know from numerous studies studies that a majority of our patient families use some form or another of alternative or complimentary medicine in additional to traditional medicine. The physicians at Payne Pediatrics are well trained and practice traditional medicine and do not often give many recommendations concerning alternative medicine (massage, herbs, aromatherapy, acupuncture, vitamins, etc), NOT because we are generally opposed to such therapies, but simply because we are not well trained/educated in those fields of study. However, we do know and trust a practitioner of complimentary medicine right here in our community, not far from our practice. His name is Grant Weidler, a well trained practitioner of complimentary medicine, and his practice is Acupoint Health Services. I think you will find Mr. Weidler to be a wonderful addition to your list of medical providers. We must all work together to achieve optimal health for you and your family.
